"We're nothing if we're not loved. When you meet somebody who is more important to you than yourself, that has to be the most important thing in life, really. And I think we are all striving for it in different ways. I also believe very, very strongly that everybody is the hero/heroine of his/her own life."

~TV Commercial Clean

~buy~
I hate cleaning my house. I really do. The last thing I want to do on a day off is clean my house. So one day a friend of mine's Mom told me about the"TV Commercial Clean "."Ok here is how it works. First during every commercial you have to pick up 3 things & put them away to where it goes. You do this until the room is all picked up. Next you pick a chore to do do during the next ad. Like wiping down the counters. Keep going until it's done. I love this method for me it feels like you aren't spending a whole day cleaning. Plus you go faster wanting to get back to your show!

This week we lost one of our 80's icons. Corey Haim. I know I found him cute when I was younger. So in his honor I bring you a bonus week-end movie. This is one of his best.So forget all about what you know of his troubles and sit back and enjoy this touching movie. RIP Corey. Lucas (1986)~

INGREDIENTS

o 1 1⁄2 sticks (3⁄4 cup) unsalted butter, softened
o 1⁄2 cup confectioners’ sugar, plus extra for dusting
o 1⁄4 cup granulated sugar
o 1 large egg
o 1 tsp grated lemon zest
o 1 Tbsp lemon juice
o 1 tsp vanilla extract
o 1 tsp baking powder
o 2 cups all-purpose flour
o 1 scant cup prepared lemon curd

PREPARATION

1. Beat butter and sugars in large bowl with mixer on medium speed until fluffy. Beat in egg, lemon zest and juice, and vanilla. On low speed, beat in baking powder, then flour, until incorporated. Cover; chill dough 1 hour. Place lemon curd into a small ziptop food-storage bag; seal bag.

2. Heat oven to 350°F. You’ll need baking sheets lined with nonstick foil, liners or parchment. Shape scant tablespoonsful of dough into balls; place 2 in. apart on prepared sheets. With index finger, make a deep indentation in center of each. Snip a tiny corner of ziptop bag and pipe lemon curd into dough indentations to fill completely (about 1 tsp per cookie).

3. Bake 15 minutes or until cookie edges just begin to lightly brown. Cool completely on baking sheet on wire rack. Dust cookie edges with confectioners’ sugar before serving.
