For years I have been on a hunt to find a perfume with peony in it that doesn't make you smell like an old lady. I bought Truly Pink a few months back. It's a sweet & light perfume.Great for daytime. After that I bought lovely Sarah Jessica Parker not really a peony perfume but, smells great and more exotic .Today I tried on Fancy Love by Jessica Simpson. It was great. I love to mix up my perfumes slightly. Always keep them on their toes. If you wear the same one every day people get use to the smell. I even have one that only comes out at night & special dates. ;)
Fancy Love, a fragrance described as timeless feeling of being in love.
This irresistible and attractive perfume arrives in a milky white flacon with a golden stopper, shaped the same as its antecedent.
Top notes of Fancy Love will seduce you in a direct and luminous way, with accords of bergamot, peach blossom, Goij leaves, while celebrating with aromas of pink champagne. A heart is based on a seductive combination of lotus, peony, plumeria, jasmine and Turkish rose, while base notes add to depth by creamy amber and blond wood. A warm, cuddling trail is accompanied with musk and patchouli.
The fragrance has been available since August 2009 in amounts of 50 and 100 ml EDT, with an accompanying body care line.
Truly Pink is a fragrance for women launched in 2006. Vested in floral dress, its top notes bring us white freesia united with apricot and litchi. The heart is composed of peony, pink rose and lily of the valley, and the base notes are iris and creamy woodsy notes.
Vera Wang says: “For me, Truly Pink is the embodiment of pure femininity... enchanting and forever in bloom.”
It comes as 50ml and 100ml EDP.
Lovely is a soft, powdery, discrete and very intimate fragrance, announced as 'silky white amber'. It possesses an elegance characteristic of classic fragrances. And yet the fragrance is quite modern and very charming.
It opens with soft citruses (nectarine and bergamot) and woody (rosewood) notes, with a touch of lavender, which is very discrete and not at all sharp. The fragrance develops further with notes of apple martini, white daffodil and orchid. The base unites white amber, cedar, woody notes and white musk.
According to Sarah's words, the perfume is appropriate for all generations: 'from 17 to 107'.
